Never trust a man

who asks you to bring up the sins you’ve committed in the past

Your mistakes are yours & only God knows of them

Keep it that way

If he loves you, he will love your mistakes

because your past made you who you are today

cynicallyjaded:

I’ve often found that such simplicity in places of worship often lends more composure and peace of mind than the elaborately decorated mosques that we often see posted on Tumblr.
The most peaceful mosque I ever set foot in was in Madinah. Not the prophet (SAW)’s mosque, but a much smaller one close by. It was barely big enough to fit 10 people in congregation. It looked very old, and unfortunately not well maintained. It was an unusually hot day when I stepped inside, and it was amazingly cool, which was even more astonishing when I looked at the standard air conditioning unit found in the middle east and noticed that it was not even functional.
I’m not sure if it still stands, but if I recall correctly, I think it was called Masjid Abu Bakr Siddiq. But I could be mistaken.

"Bakr Ibn ‘Abdillaah Al-Muzanee said:

“Treat your brothers well despite their shortcomings that they have, just as you like for them to treat you [well] despite the shortcomings that you have. Everyone that you see making a mistake or mishap should not fall from your sight, for surely you are most deserving of this yourself."

It’s very noble to let toast get burned for the sake of “art” instead of giving it to people who really need it.

Why is it that we have changed our Islam in order to fit into society, when societies of the past changed themselves for Islam?

The scholars of the past, they were no pushovers. The spoke about war, economy, government, sex, education, politics, and they tied it all with Islam. They…

It’s even better knowing you’re the reason they are laughing

this is perfect

it breaks you heart seeing someone you love cry, watching them crumble. but then they laugh in a matter of minutes, and it warms your heart, it lifts your spirit knowing that you made them feel better. you made them feel safe. you made them laugh.
